How Do I Get Started with SHRM e-Learning?

Follow these THREE EASY STEPS to begin your learning journey.


Below are some procedures that will guide you through the navigation of the site.

Go to the Course Catalog to browse through the courses currently offered.  Once you are done, click the "How Do I Get Started with SHRM e-Learning?" link in the course catalog. 



Log in (if you are an existing SHRM e-Learning customer) or Register to obtain a new account (if you are a new SHRM e-Learning customer). Do not create a new login if your forgot your account information. To retrieve your information, please email elearning@shrm.org.

 

If the course requires a token, purchase a SHRM e-Learning Course Tokens to redeem for the course.  With SHRM e-Learning Course Tokens you will be afforded the flexibility of choosing the courses as you go.  No need to select all of the courses that you would like to take at the time of purchase. Tokens never expire, but once you enroll in a course, you will have one year of access to that course (with the exception of "Special Offer" webcasts).

Purchase SHRM e-Learning Course Tokens on our secure online credit card processing site, that accepts Visa, Mastercard and American Express.  Change the quantity of how many course tokens you wish to purchase.  SHRM e-Learning courses are $64.95 each and SHRM members receive a member discount and pay only $54.95 per course. 

Once your SHRM e-Learning purchase is complete, an email confirmation that incudes instructions on granting you immediate access to your SHRM e-Learning course(s) will be delivered directly to your email inbox. IF you have purchased a compliance based training such as the Workplace Harassment Training, Ethics Training or Wage & Hour Training, an e-Learning representative will contact you within 24-48 business hours to grant access to the training.

Now that you have your SHRM e-Learning Course Tokens, go back to the Course Catalog and select the course(s) you wish to enroll in.  Select the "Enroll for 1 Token" that appears under the course you would like to take. You have one year from the date of enrollment to complete your SHRM e-Learning courses. You may view your courses as many times as you wish, and also can play, pause, stop and restart your course as often as you like.

After viewing the presentation, complete and pass the quiz to earn recertification credit toward your PHR, SPHR or GPHR credentials.

SHRM e-Learning will keep track of your course history while offering you the control of printing your own online Certificate of Completion and e-Transcript.
